Step into my world, feel my poems and allow your wandering soul to get lost in the fragnance of the soothing stories from the land that does not actually exist. Allow this feeling to creep into your being and let your nerves speak the language of that far-off land. Bienvenido :)

In the world of frightful competition

A young girl was born in a small world,
the world of love, care and concern.
The world was a beautiful creation,
with very few noble people,
who called the innocent creature an 'angel'.
They created an atmosphere so soothing, so secured,
she never got to know what actually her life was waiting for.
With bright twinkling eyes,
lots of excitement and hope,
she stepped into the bigger one of the concentric circles.
Slowly she learnt about new facts and figures.
She enjoyed learning the strange languages,
which she had never heard before.
She got to meet the same souls again and again,
and was fond of games and talks.
She made friends.
She was quite enjoying the taste of the new, bigger and the more crowded world.
Having the mindset that she was the best girl,
the angel of all,
as those noble souls of the smaller world had so proudly named her,
her heart was shattered into innumerable pieces,
when her friends got better remarks,
and she started feeling insecure.
Fear flooded her .
Well, now she was a smart grown-up girl,
quite known of the fast and furious bigger world.
She strained her heart and brain,
and for success she was ready to take all the pain.
She was glad that she could feel as a warrior,
but anger coursed through her,
when she saw her friends at the stage of her competitors.
Sometimes she was overwhelmed with the help
she received at the most unexpected hour,
and felt equally torn
when was backstabbed in the name of competition.
Gradually she lost her smile.
All her face had was pain, worry and frustration.
Her dreams started touching the skies.
She began making enormous plans.
Sometimes she excelled,
sometimes she failed.
But the fire so intense never lost its warmth.
The youthful excitement,
both infectious and pure
drowned her in ambitions, options and fun.
She enjoyed working hard,
she enjoyed whatever she learnt
under the glaring blue sky and the ever glowing ball of fire,
with so many rays of hope,
directed to the world of infinite opportunities,
freedom and passion.
There was no way she could stay that simple.
There were moments when she lay rooted to the spot.
Things happened,
that she had never expected before.
Now,
she is used to it.
She has become bold, confident and bright.
Bearing a broken smile and brilliantly twinkling eyes,

she says 'It happens in the world of frightful compeetition'.
